Visitors staying at Flintstones Cottage in Seaton were able to travel the few miles along the coast to watch the “Lyme Lunge” on New Year’s day. This event takes place on New Year’s Day each year at Lyme Regis but this time as well as dozens of swimmers in fancy dress there were also many swimmers dressed as “brides and wedding guests”!

A local couple who were recently married persuaded many of their wedding guests to join them in the charity swim and to dress up in wedding attire to add to the fun! There were hundreds of spectators watching and cheering the swimmers on and over £2,000 was raised for the RNLI.
